CKC Seattle

The CKC in Seattle was great.  I met so many people from a lot of forums and local clubs I have joined.  It was even better than last year, but I hope not as good as next year.  Next year I intend to play more and work less.

Had lunch with Tona, Cathy and two others I can’t remember their names.  There was a group of CK forum friends from Canada.  There were Making Memories forum friends from Spokane & Idaho.  Serendipity had a booth and I met those folks, they said I should post there more … and I will.  I met 3 Skinny Cowgirls (they are going to just love this photo), and some TOM girls (Treasury of Memories Bellingham,WA).

  

 

My scrapping mentor was there Jennifer from Lasting Memories and 2 of her daughters were there, Jana and Megan.  She presented a layout for the Thursday night album crop.  Jen was out of uniform, I almost didn’t recognize her in green … she always wears pink. 

 

 

I know I spent my $100 cash I had saved for this and another $180 I got for 6 volunteer shifts and I bought 9 meals and snacks with my card (The Queen has to pay that part).  I bought so much stuff I can’t remember it all.  I guess I should learn to keep receipts. 

 

I scrapped the event and entered a page in the contest, I didn’t know I was to hand in a color copy of it so I handed in my original and it got some damage, but I can fix it.  The Canon rep, Allen Luke, took many pictures of the Friday night crop and let me have a set for my page and ran off my pics also at the Canon Booth.  He was a real lifesaver.   Here is my contest entry;
