Getting Ready

I am getting excited about the Creative Keepsakes Convention coming up in November.  I am making 120 ATC’s to hand out to people.  I have all the cards cut, backgrounds done, and labels put on the backs.  Now I just have to stamp them, ink them and attach the embellies.  Maybe 3 more days.

I volunteered again for all 3 days here is my schedule;

Thursday: 11/13/08

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM –Pre-Registration

6:30 PM to 10: 30PM –Album Crop

Friday:  11/14/08

8:30 AM to 12:00 PM–Greeter

5:30 PM-9:30 PM –Friday night crop

Saturday:  11/15/08

8:30 AM to 12:00 PM –Greeter

5:30 PM -9:30 PM –Saturday night crop

I hope to see a lot of my friends there.  In between times I can meander thru the vendor fair or take classes.

I am also glad to see they are working on the Northwest Paper Chase.  It will be interesting to see if they get more stores involved.  Last year I forgot to take my camera along on some of the days.  I also get excited to visit with people I forget to take the pictures.  This time I am going to have a list of things to do at each store … maybe I’ll even remember to put it in my car.

The Human Body

Three freshman engineering students were sitting around one day arguing about who might have designed the human body.

The first one said, “It must have been a mechanical engineer. The human body has all those levers and pivots and stuff – a mechanical engineer must have designed all that.”

The second one said, “No, it had to have been an electrical engineer. The complex way the nerves are wired up to the brain must have been designed by an electrical engineer.”

Then the third one said, “No, it was a civil engineer. Who else would have run a toxic waste line through the recreational area?”
